The Northern UK Internet Marketing Networking Day!

Why the Glasgow Gathering? Well...

Since 2005, every two months internet marketers from the UK and beyond have met for a networking lunch run by Martin Avis in a top London hotel - followed by an afternoon and evening of chatting about their favourite topic.

As Martin puts it: "The people who come are at all levels of experience, from the 'haven't quite started yet' beginners right up to long-established, full-time internet millionaires. Everyone fits right in and everyone has fun."

And he might have added: the started-a-long-time-ago but still-haven't-got-anywhere "veteran newbies", of which there are many more than each member of that group thinks!

Martin's event is brilliant, but it has one drawback for many of us living in the northern UK: unless you can fit it in with other plans, it's usually "too far away".

So in May 2015, almost exactly ten years after the first small group gathered around a table in the heart of the southern capital, it's northern counterpart "The Glasgow Gathering" came into being.

The "Magnificent Seven" who attended that inaugural gathering in the Merchant City of central Glasgow were delighted with the contacts, motivation and ideas that they got from it.

They couldn't wait for the next one - and that's how you'll feel when you attend YOUR first Glasgow Gathering!

What Happens In Glasgow...

As at the London event, we gather at a central location at 12.30 p.m. for lunch at around 1.00 p.m. in our own private room where - in contrast to London - we stay all afternoon and often well into the evening, chatting and talking shop (with no pitches, presentations or selling allowed!).

And also as in London, we have been known to move on to another "watering hole" as the evening progresses and continue the conversation over yet more food and drink...

Many a friendship has been struck up and many a JV relationship formed at these events.

Sarah Staar, for example, has said she attributes her success to some tips she picked up from Phil Wiley and another marketer at one of the lunches in London, and look at her now!

What You Get..

For a very reasonable price (currently £47) you get an excellent three course meal, your first drink at the table, tea or coffee and as long as you like to network with like minded souls in a private room in a pleasant, easy-to-reach environment in the centre of Glasgow.

And it doesn't end there!

All attendees are added to The Glasgow Gathering Facebook group to continue the conversation when they get home.

That's a priceless bonus you'll come to appreciate once you've joined us.

Instructions for Booking

Payment of the £47 is via PayPal and if funding is from your PayPal balance or a debit card there will be no fees, which helps to keep the costs down.

Once you're logged in, just enter the words "Glasgow Gathering" in the message box and you're good to go. (Please also enter your name if it's not obvious from the email address...)

As we now have our own room for "private dining" there is a ceiling on numbers, so if you know you are going to come, please don't wait to book or you may miss out... the next Glasgow Gathering after this one won't be for two or three months, so  book now!
